About Me

Born and raised in South London, I have been working in the media industry for eleven years, with experience in TV, film, media operations, and advertising at ITV, Discovery Channel, Channel 4, VCCP, and Jamie Oliver Ltd.

As an independent filmmaker, I produce films and web series through my production company, Kashif Boothe Entertainment. I am best known for my acclaimed series Nate & Jamie, which won Favourite Web Ensemble at the Screen Nation Awards in 2018. I also executive produced Talia Versus, commissioned by Channel 4, and the documentary Black Man Stand, which earned Best Documentary at the London Short Series Festival in 2019.

In 2023, I produced Sunday Dinner, an award-winning short film for M&M's Fun’d #FilmsYouWantToSee campaign, now streaming on Amazon Prime. Most recently, in 2025, I received The Mainstream Ones to Watch Award for Best TV/Film Director and is currently producing the original musical theatre production Storms Pass By, book and lyrics by Keia Johnson.
